Ms. Behringer has a master’s degree in Nursing, Certification in the Foundations of Public Health and 39 years maternal-child/public health nursing experience. She is an adjunct public health nursing professor at Boise State University.
As EHDI program coordinator she is responsible for MDHHS initiatives related to hearing loss in infants and children, provides technical assistance to program partners and other state agencies and in assessing the effectiveness of follow-up strategies and quality assurance activities.
